Corporate Actions: ISO 15022

In 2004, EDI participated to The Market Data Provider ISO 15022 User Group which aimed to establish principles and rules for the use of ISO 15022 MT564 and MT568 messages sent by Data Providers.

EDI then implemented ISO 15022 compliant message standards within their Worldwide Corporate Actions feed providing clients with extensive coverage of detailed announcements on over 50 Corporate Actions types from stock markets worldwide.

ISO 15022 became the de-facto standard for communicating Corporate Action event details to arrest the growth of otherwise traditionally manual and volume sensitive procedures. We believe that the ISO 15022 messaging standards offers the potential for increased Corporate Actions Straight-Through Processing (STP).
